Her Journey
One day when my husband and I were sitting and talking about his bug, I mentioned how cool it would be if I had a bus just like in the 60s. He started his search that afternoon for one that we could restore. Then he happened across this one that had been sitting for far too long in a field, so we went to check her out. After some negotiation, we towed her home and started stripping the inside the next day. The journey to get her where she is now has been a long one, fraught with strange finds, large checks, and a couple of tears. But after 4 long years, she is finally back in tip-top shape and loving impressing people with her bright colors and adorable decorations!
